The Promotional evening of the Festival of Cricket 2019, celebrating its 31st anniversary was held on Friday 24th May at the Sri Lankan High Commission in Hyde Park Gardens in London. The event commenced around 6:30 p.m. The FoC committee was honoured by the presence of H.E. the High Commissioner of Sri Lanka Ms. Manisha Gunasekera, Mr. Sugeeshwara Gunaratna, the Deputy High Commissioner, representatives from our Sponsors in the UK, the delegates who were representing Sponsors from Sri Lanka, Chairmen of FOC Sub-Committees, Past Presidents, FoC Committee members and Guests.

FoC 2018 Donates Rs. 1M worth medical equipment to Apeksha Hospital (Sri Lanka Cancer Unit - Maharagama)

On the 8th January 2018, the Charity Chairman of Festival of Cricket 2018 visited the Apeksha Hospital (Maharagama).

During the meeting, Dr Nishan Siriwardene, Consultant Oncologist acknowledged the FoC donation of five (5) Terumo Infusion Pumps to help the treatment of Cancer patients. Dr. B I Kurukasuriya, the Director of Apeksha Hospital - Maharagama sent a formal letter for acknowledging FoC’s donation.

Festival of Cricket appoint its New Office bearers for 2019

The 31st Annual General Meeting of the Festival of Cricket was held on the 30th September 2018 at Rising Sun, Sudbury Hill.

The highlight of the AGM was the appointments of the new office bearers for 2018/2019. Mr. Kapila Mallikarachchige from Mahanama College was appointed as the Hon. President while Mr. Wasantha Perera from Joseph Vaz College appointed as the Hon. Secretary and Mr. Konesh Govindarajah from Methodist Central College(Batticaloa) was appointed as the Hon. Treasurer.
