Beyond cricket, the extensive grounds offer a wide range of activities to keep guests and visitors engaged, entertained, and well catered for throughout the day. These include live stage performances, music, a children’s funfair, a vibrant bazaar featuring traditional Sri Lankan and international food stalls, a beer tent, and a variety of commercial and trade exhibitions.

The event provides a unique blend of fun, excitement, and meaningful social interaction, bringing together families, friends, and long-lost acquaintances from across the UK and around the world. It creates opportunities for chance encounters, unexpected reunions, camaraderie, and the renewal of both old and new friendships.

Proceeds from the event are donated to organisations including Cancer Research UK, Anthony Nolan, and Cancer Relief Sri Lanka, as well as other deserving causes in both the UK and Sri Lanka. Additional support is provided to members’ school charities and local communities throughout the year in partnership with FOC’s sponsors and supporters.
